🇷🇺🇨🇳 Regarding the influence of external factors and conflicts on the development of Russian-Chinese relations, all these external factors amount to common threats, and they strengthen Russian-Chinese interaction.
I am optimistic about specific prospects. In March, we reached certain agreements and set forth eight clauses. Right now, the prime ministers will have to clarify these clauses in Bishkek, and they will sign a plan for our interaction until 2030. This is a very good, specific and substantial plan.
China's Belt and Road initiative is a global initiative and concerns practically every region of the world. What is called the Eurasian Partnership is a local-scale project. Without any doubt, one complements the other.
#MiddleEast
Regarding the impressions I got during conversations with the five regional leaders: I have an impression that no onewants this conflict to continue or expand, or the situation to escalate.
we have always advocated the creation of a Palestinian state that would be independent, sovereign and with a capital in East Jerusalem. After all, as demonstrated by today’s crisis, there is no way you can use momentary economic handouts in the way attempted by the United States, in lieu of addressing fundamental political issues dealing with the future of the Palestinian nations. We need to address fundamental political issues.

If the Ukrainian side really wants to negotiate, it should not make any theatrical gestures but instead start by cancelling the presidential executive order prohibiting talks [with Russia].
Practical steps must be taken if there is a real desire to hold negotiations.

🇷🇺🇨🇳 President of Russia Vladimir Putinmet with Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng at the Far Eastern Federal University.
💬President Putin: In October 2024, we will mark 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries. That event had a profound impact on our bilateral relations and on development of modern China and our interstate ties.
As per our agreement, we hope to see President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping at the upcoming BRICS summit. I propose holding a bilateral meeting during that event.
Thanks to our joint efforts, relations between China and Russia have reached an unprecedented level. We attach great importance to interregional cooperation. I hope that during our meeting today and our work at the Eastern Economic Forum tomorrow, we will have the opportunity to explore and identify new areas for cooperation.
We are grateful to the President of the People’s Republic of China for sending such a substantial delegation to this forum. I would like to thank you for leading this delegation and for taking part in our joint work.

We are establishing subsidiaries of Russia’s leading world-class museums, theatres and musical venues here. I know that some performers who are popular with Chinese audiences have visited China many times, and have recently been on another tour. I hope that Vladivostok will also become a prominent hub for cultural exchanges and attract tourists from Russia, from all over the world and especially from China, which is our friend.

🇷🇺🇨🇳 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s remarks at a meeting with Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee Wang Yi
📍 Jakarta, July 13, 2023
💬 The extensive and wide-ranging agenda of the Russia-China dialogue requires coordinating our positions regularly, which makes this meeting today rather timely.
We support ASEAN’s determination to maintain its constructive role in the Asia-Pacific region and support ASEAN-centric mechanisms. Along with China, we are committed to strengthening them. We presented all these approaches to Foreign Minister of Indonesia and ASEAN Chair Retno Marsudi yesterday. We will continue to promote this principled line in the course of the upcoming events in Jakarta, the East Asia Summit and the ASEAN Regional Forum. I look forward to a productive dialogue.

The Russian Minister congratulated his Chinese colleague on his recent appointment and wished him success in this responsible position.
The two officials discussed topical matters on the bilateral, global and regional agendas. The ministers went on to state that Moscow and Beijing were united in their approaches to fundamental matters on the global development agenda. They gave a positive assessment of the constructive dialogue and high level of bilateral coordination in the United Nations, BRICS, the SCO, within the Group of Twenty, as well as at ASEAN cooperation platforms and other formats, with all these efforts fully in line with the trust-based partnership between the two countries.
