An Open Day was held at St. Anne’s Primary School in Marsaskala on September 5, 2024. The event celebrated the cultures of different countries, and students were encouraged to come dressed in traditional costumes and share national dishes with their classmates. Countries like Brazil, Italy, England, France, Albania were represented by the students. Students from the Russian language courses in Russian House in Valletta gave a presentation on Russian traditions, showcased traditional shirts (kosovorotkas), and treated guests to sweets, including pryaniki (spiced cookies), baranki (small bagels), and marmalade. The school administration expressed their thanks to the parents and students for their participation.
