It marked the culmination of Russia's chairmanship of the group and was one of the significant events on the global political calendar. On the final day of the Summit, October, 24, a Plenary Session of the 16th BRICS Summit in the BRICS Plus/Outreach format was held, bringing together leaders from CIS countries, delegations for Asian, African, Middle Eastern and Latin American countries, as well as several international organisations at the level of heads of their executive bodies. 🎙️Following the results of the XVI BRICS Summit President Vladimir Putin held a Press conference. 📄 The BRICS leaders adopted the Kazan summit declaration, which summed up the results of the meeting and Russia’s chairmanship in the association.
