🗓 On May 28th, the 5th #ASEAN-Russia Consultations of the High Representatives for Security Issues were successfully held in Moscow 🇷🇺 on the sidelines of the 13th International Meeting of High-Ranking Officials Responsible for Security Matters. 🔹️ The meeting was co-chaired by Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Sergey Shoigu🇷🇺 and National Security Adviser to the State Administration Council, Union Minister of State Administration Council Chairman's Office-1 of the Republic of the Union of‌ Myanmar H.E. Aung Moe 🇲🇲. 🔹️ High-ranking officials from ASEAN Member States, Timor-Leste 🇹🇱 and ASEAN Secretariat attended the meeting. 🗓 On June 22, Russian Ministry of Energy 🇷🇺 took part in the 14th #ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials' Meeting on Energy (SOME-Russia) in Jakarta 🇮🇩. 🔹The meeting approved the ASEAN-Russia Work Plan on Energy Cooperation for 2023-2025 that outlines specific steps aimed at intensifying substantive interaction between Russia and ASEAN Member States in six areas: oil and natural gas; coal and clean coal technologies; electric power; nuclear energy, renewable energy, alternative and low-carbon energy technologies. 🔹Parties also discussed new projects under the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Partnership Financial Fund tabled by the Russian side. #ASEANRussia#RussiaASEAN
