Full video and context follows this post as well as commentary from PrivSecGoys, of the previously posted arrest concerning a young man questioned over his online persona Incel_Revolution_Soon, and related posts. More often than not, you should avail of your right to silence when approached by law enforcement officers investigating a crime. There is no glory in getting a criminal record over politicians making attempts to politicize and criminalize speech. When law enforcement show up to talk to you - either in person, or even online - it isn't to check on your "welfare" or intentions, it's to gather evidence with a view to charging you with a crime. Be polite, but decline to answer questions. Ask them to clarify who they are (names), what agency (or department) they are from, and what they are inquiring about - in this order. The correct response to whatever they ask you next is not "Yes", "No", or "I don't know", as all three of these responses indicate a degree of knowledge over persons, things or events which they are investigating. You should instead say something like "Okay, I'm sorry but I have nothing to say regarding the matter. Have a nice day." It's not uncommon for them to comment on your sudden clamming up as "not looking good". Remember, you do not owe them an explanation, and contrary to what many think, silence cannot be inferred to mean guilt. Silence is one of the few rights you have left, and you should avail of it wherever possible. Best of all, it's FREE and can save you a lot of money. Take note though, some jurisdictions have made significant attempts to erode the right to silence (particularly Commonwealth countries for certain categories of criminal offense). When you maintain your right to silence, you are requiring the investigating officers to do all of the work themselves, by connecting all the dots and drawing all inferences based on evidence they themselves gather. Don't be smart to them, don't aggravate them, and don't laugh like a giddy schoolgirl as you tell them you're not answering their questions. As silence of this caliber is in some cases enough to put you on an unspoken shit-list for several months. YOU are responsible for learning the laws and rights which apply to you in your jurisdiction. In some freedom hating localities, courts are directed by legislation to draw adverse inferences against you for remaining silent in certain situations. Bottom line: don't be a dummy and wind up in jail and with a criminal record over shitposting because retards who shouldn't be on the internet get offended at everything they see there. It's a net cost exercise that you will personally bear for some time, and is easily avoidable. #law @slashbiz_syndicate
