Something to think about regarding the Epstein files: CRIMINAL LIABILITY: 18 U.S.C. § 1591(a)(2) — "Benefiting from a Venture" The federal sex trafficking statute doesn't only criminalize the people who directly recruit, transport, or exploit victims. It specifically criminalizes anyone who benefited financially or by receiving anything of value from participation in a venture that recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, advertised, maintained, patronized, or solicited a person to engage in a commercial sex act.
