Faraj al-Shamie, the father of the Manchester terrorist behind the recent attack that killed two Jews, is facing scrutiny over his past social media activity. A practicing doctor in the UK, al-Shamie had previously expressed open praise for Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, while the massacre was still unfolding. More alarmingly, just days before his son’s deadly September 27, 2025 attack, he wrote on Facebook: “Bad news for Israel in the next few days, unfortunately no one can prevent what is written.” Despite this apparent foreknowledge, media coverage has only wrote about his subsequent condemnation of the killings and his plea for privacy for his family.
