🚀 Uzbekistan’s First HealthTech AI Hackathon Has Kicked Off in Nukus! For the first time, Uzbekistan is launching a nationwide series of hackathons in digital healthcare — HealthTech AI Hackathon. The opening stage started in Nukus, bringing together IT developers, doctors, and students to co-create innovative solutions for the healthcare sector. 👥 This first stage has gathered: 🟢126 participants 🟢26 full teams 🟢4 incomplete teams 🟢24 individual participants The project is organised by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Zhokargy Kenes, IT Park Uzbekistan and Uzinfocom. The initiative is also supported by major private companies such as Yandex Uzbekistan, Uzum, Click, ZTE, Central Asian University, New Uzbekistan University and AKFA. HealthTech Hackathon is about: ✔️Developing national solutions for healthcare ✔️Promoting AI in medicine ✔️Building a community of digital health leaders ✔️Engaging young people in healthtech Teams will work with mentors, attend workshops, pitch their ideas to experts, and the best projects will receive grants and pilot opportunities — with the hackathon journey starting in Nukus and continuing across Uzbekistan before the grand final in Tashkent.
