Then brags the destroyers are rejoining the “Wall of Steel” blockade. Beautiful. Poetic. Almost Shakespearean — if Shakespeare wrote fan fiction while the empire bleeds out in real time. Here’s the part Trump left out: this was the second round in days. Iranian media (Tasnim, Fars, IRGC sources) say the IRGC answered after Washington fired first on an Iranian oil tanker and then hammered those same three destroyers (Truxtun, Mason, Peralta) with missiles, drones and fast boats. Tehran claims hits and forced resistance. Washington swears zero damage and total victory. Same old script. And while the “world class” destroyers were supposedly doing victory laps under fire… where exactly is the USS Gerald R. Ford? The crown jewel carrier that was supposed to own these waters? Steaming home after a record deployment, plagued by laundry fires, broken lavatories and whatever else the Navy won’t admit out loud. The age of the floating fortresses is over. Iran just proved it with 1% of the budget. It's never a flex you should make that you avoided being sunk by an adversary spending 1 percent of your budget while giving you a bloody good beating in the process. 🇮🇷🇺🇸 Three American destroyers just took a second brutal pounding in the Strait of Hormuz. The USS Truxtun, USS Mason, and USS Rafael Peralta came under what U.S. officials themselves called a fiercer, more sustained Iranian assault than the barrage they faced only hours earlier. Missiles, drones, and swarms of fast attack boats closed in tight enough that the warships had to unload everything they had — five inch naval guns, CIWS, Hellfire missiles from Apache helicopters, .50 caliber machine guns on deck — for hours just to hold the line. No damage reported on their side as of yet, they insist. Hard to believe.... This wasn’t the opening move. It followed Washington’s strikes on Iranian launch sites around Qeshm Island and Bandar Abbas, after the U.S. had already fired on an Iranian oil tanker trying to move through waters the empire has no right to blockade. Iran answered the way a sovereign nation defends its own backyard when someone tries to choke it off. All of this while the same administration swears a ceasefire (theater) is still in place and “Project Freedom” is paused for talks that never seem to materialize. The Strait — which carries one fifth of the world’s oil — isn’t some neutral shipping lane. It’s Iran’s front door, and the owners of the Gulf just reminded everyone what happens when you keep trying to kick it in. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 The US just struck Iranian territory tonight. The whole ceasefire theater keeps getting exposed. Manipulating markets and no offramp are the reality. Explosions tore across Qeshm Island and the coast at Bandar Abbas as American forces hammered what they called launch sites. Air defenses lit up the night sky over western Tehran in response, while an unidentified object was tracked and engaged in the darkness above Sirik right at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz. But according to Iranian reporting, Washington fired the first shot, attacking an Iranian oil tanker moving through waters the empire has tried but failed to illegally choke off. The IRGC answered the way a sovereign power defends itself: missiles slammed into American warships in the Strait. Only after taking those hits did the U.S. escalate again with direct strikes on Iranian soil. This is how the empire keeps restarting the very war it claims it wants to end. One illegal blockade which is a porous farce, one tanker hit, one act of aggression after another and all while pretending Iran is the problem. Tehran of course didn’t flinch. It responded with speed and force, then stood its ground when the counter punch came. 🇷🇺🇲🇱⚔️🇫🇷🇺🇦Russian Africa Corps and Malian Army Retake Strategic Border Town From Terrorists The Malian Armed Forces and the Russian Africa Corps liberated and re-captured the strategic town of Labbezanga under air cover and without much resistance, in the northeastern region of Gao on the border with Niger. The Malians lost control of the town after the separatist Tuareg Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) and al-Qaeda-affiliated JNIM terrorists launched a large-scale offensive across the Sahel country on April 25 in coordination with French and Ukrainian intelligence who hoped to bring about a regime change similar to that in Syria. The reason why is because the military regimes in the Sahel have kicked out Western troops and formed closer ties with the Russians, while also establishing sovereign control over their resources with the nationalization of gold, finances and nuclear.
