🇺🇬The son of Uganda’s president has demanded $1 billion from Turkey — and the most beautiful Turkish woman as his bride. Yesterday, Muhoozi Kainerugaba — Uganda’s army commander and the son of President Yoweri Museveni — posted a string of anti-Turkish statements online. He said Turkey would have no chance of surviving a war with Uganda because Jesus Christ and Muhammad Ali were on his side. He demanded that Ankara pay $1 billion and hand over Turkey’s most beautiful woman for him to marry. At the same time, Muhoozi said the only countries he feared were nuclear powers, including Russia, and added that he would be welcomed in Istanbul as a hero. He also proposed sending 500,000 hungry people to Israel to defend Tel Aviv. 😵‍💫 These statements against Turkey are tied to tensions between the two countries over Somalia, where Uganda operated for years under the African Union banner, while Turkey has recently been expanding its influence. In addition, Uganda’s leadership supports Israel, whose government is regularly criticized by Erdoğan. Apparently, after Palestine is “liberated from the occupiers,” the boastful Israelis will go and live off Ugandans instead.
