Global M&A activity is skyrocketing: Global M&A deals worth over $10 billion are up to a record $1.25 trillion YTD. By comparison, the previous full-year all-time high was set in 2015 at $1.20 trillion. M&A volumes have than doubled since the $480 billion recorded last year and has exceeded the combined total of the previous two years. Corporations are executing transactions at an unprecedented scale.
