April 2023 security patches have been merged into Evolution X! Version 7.8 is Sisig! (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sisig) Updates for officially supported devices will start to roll out this week.

Good day! Happy Easter to all those who celebrate it ❤️ Regarding April security patches, they will probably be merged into source by this Tuesday (8 am onwards Philippine time). Several features removed after the QPR2 merge have already returned within the past week. We've already switched the Pixel Launcher to its Pixel 5 version for lesser battery drain. The features that have returned include: - Status bar notification counter - Pulse - Smart Pixels - QS layout settings - QS tile label text size - QS battery style following status bar - Live volume steps - Extended nav gestures - Lockscreen clock color settings Thank you for your patience on these features!

Getting real tired of seeing ROM builders posting about community builds in the main group? Tired of not having an official device? Visit @EvolutionXBuilders! That's where you may ask for assistance with ROM issues and apply for official support. And lastly, WE DO NOT MAKE BUILDS FOR DEVICES WE DO NOT CURRENTLY OWN. We can only build the ROM for devices we have in our possession. If your device is not officially supported, either find a suitable maintainer that should apply or build for your device yourselves.

Attention Evolution X community! We have a major announcement about our search function in the ROM! We're excited to reveal that we've implemented ChatGPT as the search algorithm for your phone. That's right, you can now chat with your search results! Want to search for pizza restaurants near you? Simply type in "pizza near me" and ChatGPT will respond with a list of pizza places AND a cheesy pizza joke. Need to find a gas station? Ask ChatGPT "where's the nearest gas station?" and it will respond with directions AND a pun about gasoline. But wait, there's more! We've also programmed ChatGPT to respond with funny memes and GIFs when you search for certain keywords. So go ahead, try it out! We promise you won't be disappointed.

Due to a plethora of negative reactions and for our users convenience, we will bringing back the Photos spoof toggle. Those who actually don't want to risk their accounts being possibly banned/blocked may just keep it off. It'll be off by default starting today. Using it definitely poses risks but it's up to the users anyways.

Thanks for everyone's patience! A13 QPR2 (March security patch) source is about to be finalized! GitHub is currently experiencing issues which is why I couldn't fully push the fixes to make source boot just yet. Several features have sadly been temporarily removed due to the code changes but that was expected. They will be likely to return before A14 arrives.
