The most common mistakes💡
👉🏼Articles
There are no articles in Ukrainian, so we often forget about them.
❌I'm teacher.
✅I am a teacher.
❌ I liked cake!
✅I liked a cake!
👉🏼Preposition
Some people don't use them at all. And there is also such a thing as dependent prepositions. Here is a list of some of them:
To depend on
To be tired of
To divide into
To wait for someone
To be afraid of someone/something
To explain to someone
To say to someone, but to tell someone
👉🏼DO/MAKE
They are often confused. Remember:
DO is an action verb (to do one's homework, to do business, to do the shopping)
MAKE is used as a synonym for the verb "to create" (to make mistakes, to make a mess).
But there are exceptions, for example:
To make money - to earn money
To do someone a favour - to render a favour
To do business
To make a decision
To do good - to prosper

How to be fluent in English in 2 steps
1. Smile and breathe
No matter what your level of English, confidence is vital. When you speak English, smiling will make you feel more confident. It might even help you make some new friends. Make sure to take time to breathe while you are speaking, too. If you get stuck for what to say, just pause, take a breath, and you will feel your confidence returning.
2, Memorize examples with vocabulary
Don’t just memorize lists of words. Make sure to include examples, too. If you are using flashcards, write a whole sentence on each card so you know how to use the words in context. Make the examples as memorable as possible with a funny story or use something related to your life to help them stick in your mind

Common Mistakes in English
➖➖➖🙀🙀🙀➖➖➖
Use Of Certain Tense
⚪️1. Use the simple present for habitual or frequent actions, and use the present continuous for actions taking place at the present moment .
📝Example; I read the newspaper every day, I’m reading an english book(now).
〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖
⚪️2. Use the simple past when a definite time or date is mentioned , and use the present perfect when no time is mentioned .
📝Example : I did my homework last night . I’ve done my homework (so I can watch TV- or whatever- now)
〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️
⚪️3. Express habitual or repeated actions in the past either by the simple past or by the phrase used to .
📝Example ; I went (or I used to go ) to the cinema every week last year .
🔎Note: Don’t use the past continuous (I was going) for a past habitual action, but for an action in the past continuing at the time another action took place : I was going to the cinema when I met him .
➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖
⚪️4. The only correct tense to use is the present perfect if the action began in the past and is still continuing in the present .
📝Example : I’ve been in this class for two month .
〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️➖〰️
⚪️5. Be very carful NOT to use the future but the present tense in a clause of time or condition, if the verb in the main clause is in the future .
📝Example ; I will/‘ll visit the Parthenon when I go (or if I go) to Athens .

You are your worst enemy until you learn to treat yourself like a friend.
By sabotaging your efforts and relationships, by convincing yourself that no one loves you without trying because you are sure you will fail, by being apathetic to everything, you believe that you are not good enough.
But the truth is you are good enough and you can be the best person you can be if you learn to change those thoughts into self love and encouragement
Listen to your needs and be here for yourself instead of ruining your health or giving up on yourself or your future.
