M2 — the broad measure of U.S. money supply — totals $21.86T and includes cash, checking, savings, small deposits, and retail money markets. Stablecoins currently represent just over 1.1% of this, but with stronger regulation, better infrastructure, and digital payment adoption, that share could grow tenfold over the next decade.
