📣 Important Announcement: DYDX IBC Channel Deprecation The DYDX IBC channel will be deprecated on February 15th, 2025. If you currently have KYVE tokens on the DYDX chain via IBC, please transfer them back to KYVE before February 15th 2026. After this date, the IBC channel will be closed, which may affect your ability to access and move your tokens.

Big news today! A landmark governance proposal has just passed, fundamentally evolving KYVE’s tokenomics and expanding our decentralized storage reach. 💰Major Economic Shift: $KYVE is now Deflationary To align with long-term value for holders and validators, we have successfully implemented: - Zero Inflation: New $KYVE minting has been set to 0%. - 100% Fee Burn: The network now burns every single transaction fee. - Adjusted Gas Fees: Minimum gas prices are now optimized (~$0.05/tx) to maximize burn impact as network activity scales. - Zero Slashing: We’ve removed slashing penalties to ensure a more predictable risk-reward profile for our community. 🌐KYVE × Filecoin: Multi-Storage Future We are officially a Filecoin Onchain Cloud launch partner! KYVE is no longer tied to a single storage layer. - Optimized Costs: Projects can now choose between Arweave (Permanent) and Filecoin (High-scale, ultra-low cost bringing a 99,4% cost reduction compare to Arweave bringing more profitability to KYVE validators and decreasing the sell pressure on $KYVE) - Real-World Usage: We are already storing Celestia and Story Protocol data on Filecoin, proving our capacity for petabyte-scale archival. - Sovereignty: This removes vendor lock-in, ensuring data is truly owned by the protocols.

KYVE just wrapped up a $33K grant from dYdX Grant, the entire dYdX chain is now fully archived on Arweave, forever and accessible as a public good. Most of the grant went into a $DYDX buyback (26,518 tokens) to fuel validator rewards.
