Sul suo forum, OnePlus ha annunciato che presto sarà possibile scaricare dal Play Store un'app per gestire le OnePlus Buds, servizio già presente sui più recenti OnePlus. Quest'app sarà disponibile per OnePlus 3, 3T, 5, 5T e per ogni altro telefono Android con versione 6 o successiva. Grazie a quest'app, sarà possibile sfruttare tutte le funzioni avanzate delle Buds come la personalizzazione del doppio tap e l'aggiornamento firmware.
