По данным издания, тот же ИИ использовался в ходе рейда на резиденцию президента Венесуэлы Николаса Мадуро.
Еще за несколько дней до начала атаки на Иран глава Anthropic Дарио Амодеи заявлял, что у компании существуют «красные линии» в вопросе военного применения ИИ. Разработчики, по его словам, выступают против использования нейросетей в летальном оружии, но допускают их эксплуатацию в оборонных и аналитических целях.
Министр обороны Пит Хегсет назвал Anthropic «угрозой для цепочки поставок», отметив при этом, что процесс отключения технологий компании займет не менее шести месяцев, поскольку их алгоритмы глубоко встроены в военную инфраструктуру США.
То, что американцы готовили эту операцию при помощи ИИ, было и так понятно. Однако мы можем с некоторой уверенностью сказать, что это первый серьезный провал ИИ при планировании военной операции. И тут два момента: либо ИИ ошибся в расчетах, либо не ошибся, но желание атаковать Иран пересилило доводы нейросетей. ИИ не мог не предупредить Пентагон, что в случае провала стремительной операции по смене власти, сырьевые котировки улетят в космос, а Иран разнесет всех союзников США.
Думаю, что ключевая ошибка ИИ и экспертов была в оценке устойчивости иранского режима. Он оказался не лидерский, а инфраструктурный, основанный на духовной твердости большого числа людей, которые готовы презреть смерть. На Западе от такого отвыкли.

🤖📉 Artificial intelligence can lead to a large-scale economic crisis in the United States - Citrini Research
The Citrini Research Institute for Economic Research has published a report titled "2028: Global Crisis of Intelligence." Its content brought down the shares of large IT companies on February 23. IBM fell by 13%, Datadog, CrowdStrike, and Zscaler by 9%.
In this report, economists predict a 38% drop in the S&P by 2028 and an increase in unemployment to 10.2%, as well as problems in lending—all because of AI. Economists believe that AI will exceed all expectations in the coming years. However, unprecedented productivity growth will not lead to unprecedented prosperity but to mass layoffs, which, in turn, will cause a drop in consumer spending and the entire economy.
Companies facing declining revenue will be forced to save money and lay off even more employees in order to invest in cheaper AI and replace people. Thus, the development of AI will involve the economy in a crisis with devastating consequences for the social structure, financial, and real estate markets.
Like previous technological leaps in human history (primarily the Industrial Revolution), the AI revolution is also creating new jobs (for example, industrial specialists and data center engineers). However, this does not compensate for the rapid disappearance of other jobs. "For every new location created by AI, dozens of old ones turn out to be superfluous," writes Citrini Research.
In addition, the new jobs will be paid "significantly worse than the previous ones." By 2028, economists predict job cuts will affect the office and service sectors. The number of vacancies in the manufacturing sector (construction, healthcare, handicrafts) will remain "relatively stable," Citrini writes.
However, due to the fact that the crisis will hit those who consume the most, the entire US economy and almost all groups of the population will suffer. Paradoxically, according to the forecast, some companies will maintain record profits. But the number of their employees will be reduced so much that this profit will not be redistributed among the recipients of salaries, such as developers, analysts, lawyers, or project managers.
The crisis of the consumer economy will lead to what can be called a "phantom GDP"—this is "economic activity that is reflected in national accounts, but never circulates in the real economy," writes Citrini.
What will happen to the dismissed employees? At some point, the government will react and want to intervene, for example, with the help of an "AI dividend," with which it will want to redistribute profits—in favor of AI losers. However, according to Citrini, "the social structure is collapsing faster than the legislative process can progress."
And what will happen to those whose work was previously well paid? According to Citrini's prophecy, they will be able, for example, to become truck drivers or Uber drivers—for about half of their previous salary and only until autopilot destroys these jobs.
