L'Huma du jour.

Pour la petite histoire, Matthias Bouchenot était présent le 5 juin 2013 au côté de Clément Méric lors de l'agression de militants des JNR qui se termina tragiquement pour le fils de bourgeois Méric. On ne peut pas dire que Bouchenot, fils de bourge lui aussi, ait tenu grand chose à cette occasion.

On May 1, 1969, radical students at Sapienza University of Rome founded Lotta di Popolo, a militant student group that organized protests, campus mobilizations, and street actions during the Years of Lead. Strongly backed by Franco Freda, the organization engaged in direct confrontations with the system and sought to build a revolutionary base among Italian youth.

One key moment in the early history of the National Bolshevik Party came on May 1, 1993, during the violent opposition demonstration in Moscow. The march turned into clashes with OMON near Gagarin Square and other areas, leaving one OMON sergeant (Vladimir Tolokneev) dead — he was crushed between two trucks — and over 200 protesters injured. Right after the events, near the White House on the Gorbaty Bridge (Горбатый мостик), Eduard Limonov and Alexander Dugin stepped aside from the crowd and drafted "Order No. 1" ("Приказ №1"), announcing the creation of the National Bolshevik Front as the precursor to the full NBP. They defined the new force as a merger of the most radical forms of social resistance with the most radical forms of national resistance. Limonov later described writing the document standing on the bridge in his book Моя политическая биография.
