The first lesson of love is that one should not ask for love, but simply give it. Become a giver. But people do just the opposite. Even when they give love, they always expect equal love in return. It is like a bargain. They do not give love, they do not do it unconditionally. They love conditionally. Out of the corner of their eye, they watch to see if the same amount of love is coming back to them. Very unhappy people… they do not know the true nature of love.
