"Echoes of the Unseen" In a world where every person is born with an invisible companion spirit that only they can communicate with, write a short story or poem from the perspective of either the person or the spirit. How you can write? After her parents left the room, Kira whispered fervently, "Icarus, are you there?" A gentle hum filled the room as her unseen guide responded, "Never far, Kira. What guidance do you seek today?" Companions from birth, they were born together, for better or for worse. Kira's parents would say she talked to herself; they did not know about Icarus. No one did. It was their secret, a silent friendship fostering wisdom and companionship in an otherwise lonely world. Icarus was unseen but felt in a thousand profound ways: a warming presence, a voice of reason, a ray of inspiration in the darkest times. In turn, Kira was his tether to the physical world, a world otherwise inaccessible to him. Their symbiotic relationship painted untold stories of mystical companionship—a bond transcending the earthly and the ethereal. Could spirits be lonely? Kira sometimes wondered.
