ICYMI, the political world was rocked last night when The Daily Beast reported GOP Senate nominee Herschel Walker once paid for an ex-girlfriend’s abortion in 2009. (POLITICO didn’t independently verify their reporting.) Walker’s campaign is built on strong family values and an anti-abortion stance — he’s called multiple times for a national ban on the procedure. Walker called the report a “flat-out lie” and threatened to sue. But things got uglier when Walker’s adult son attacked his dad on Twitter.
