Living in a Faraday cage
#video#USA
For Sue, mobile phones, WiFi routers, radio, TVs and other devices are a silent killer. Sue lives with electromagnetic hypersensitivity, a mystery illness linked to technology. Sue built a Faraday cage to block manufactured radiation. She missed her daughter’s graduation because she couldn’t travel far from her ‘silver room’.
Her symptoms include headaches, nausea, a burning sensation on the skin and a metallic taste in the mouth. There’s no cure, and only distancing yourself from electronic devices can alleviate the pain. Sue is not alone. More and more people around the world claim they have the same condition.
Have you ever heard of the hypersensitivity to electromagnetic fields? Is technology killing us, or does this illness even exist? For more, check out our documentary, WiFi Refugees.

Marijuana Victims
#video#USA
Marijuana legalisation has been making strides in the US since Colorado became the first state to legalise recreational pot in 2012. It’s become more socially acceptable. In 2020, an estimated 3.43 million used recreational cannabis in the US. But the cannabis they’re consuming is far more potent than joints passed around at Woodstock. Cannabis has become a lucrative business claiming lives.
Johnny Stack was only 19 when he took his own life. His parents blame recreational marijuana that flooded Colorado’s many marijuana shops in various forms. Johnny used marijuana since the age of 14, abusing high-THC concentrates, such as wax, oil and shatter.
‘It was the only way he knew how to end this pain,’ says Johnny’s mother, Laura. She and other opponents of marijuana legalisation speak out in our new documentary. Tune in for the premiere right now!
Let us know what’s your stance on recreational cannabis in the comments!

Deadly Vapes
#video#USA
Can vaping kill you? Sixty-eight people have died from a vaping-related lung disease called EVALI in the US alone. Nearly 3,000 cases have been reported since 2019. Alex from Provo, Utah, was lucky not to die. He spent three terrifying weeks on life support. His lungs failed after he tried a new vape juice. Alex’s parents thought he was on his deathbed.
Now Alex and his family want his case to become a cautionary tale, as some 1.5 million people are taking up vaping in the US every year. While health experts are trying to determine what exactly causes the illness, vape proponents still claim it’s less harmful than smoking tobacco and helps smokers quit.
What’s true and what’s myth about vaping? We talked to Alex, his family, vape proponents, and health officials to find out more. Check out our YouTube for a new documentary that’s premiering right now!

What’s it like to feel constantly restless?
#video#USA
Josh suffers from akathisia, a disorder that makes it difficult to stay still. The inner restlessness Josh feels at all times makes him want to crawl out of his own skin. His body always wants to be on the move, so he paces and moves his hands.
His condition is a side effect of a medication he was prescribed to treat anxiety. It hit when Josh and his wife were having their fifth child. He moved so much he couldn’t hold their newborn baby. The only relief he has is riding a bike because he can ‘sit and move at the same time.’
You can hear more heartbreaking stories of people like Josh, who have suffered from severe side effects of prescription drugs - https://youtu.be/5722_XclQkY

Twin Oaks, or Life in the Woods
#video#USA
Communism exists in Twin Oaks, Virginia, where members of a small rural community live and work free of bosses and bills. Every ‘Oaker’ has to work 42 hours a week, doing household chores and producing hammocks and tofu for sale. In return, all their basic needs are covered, including food, clothes and housing. Nothing is owned and everything is shared, including sexual partners, as non-monogamous relationships are common in this community.
The eco-village has since inspired other communities since it was founded more than 50 years ago. Currently, around 90 adults and 15 children live in Twin Oaks, and there is a long waiting list for those wanting to join.
Would you live in a community like this?

Jason Barrett isn’t a vampire, but he can’t stand sunlight.
A rare genetic disease means being in the sun can be deadly for Jason. Solar rays cause him extreme pain. It’s called erythropoietic protoporphyria, or EPP and there is no cure.
To go outside, Jason has to be fully clothed, covering every part of his face and body. His unusual outfit often turns heads, much to Jason’s frustration. Yet, he has still adapted to living with the condition. He works nightshifts as an electrician and loves rainy days when he can play outdoors with his children.
Children with Jason’s condition can go to 'Camp Sundown', a special place where kids can enjoy a real summer camp experience. We have a documentary about it, you should check it out - https://youtu.be/JdYP_A48Xro

If you watch American movies, you’re probably used to seeing Russians presented as the bad guys. Ivan Drago from Rocky IV, Andrei Sator from Tenet, Yuri Komarov in A Good Day to Die Hard, even Boris and Natasha from Bullwinkle – the list goes on and on. But, Hollywood hasn’t always portrayed Russians as villains.
It’s hard to believe there was a brief moment in history when Hollywood actually produced pro-Soviet films, where Russians were shown in a favourable light. Here’s proof.

The Ku Klux Klan is one of the US oldest white supremacy groups with some peculiar traditions and rituals. One of them is the KKK's odd outfits and titles that are more at home in a Dungeons & Dragons game.
Despite their bizarre aesthetics, the KKK has terrorised Blacks and other minorities for more than a century. Unfortunately, it's still active and not banned in the US.
