Following the restoration of its Renaissance façades, the historic residence of Florence's most powerful family, now the headquarters of the Metropolitan City of Florence and the beating heart of a rich calendar of cultural initiatives, shines once again. A new year that opens in the name of art, history, and opportunities not to be missed, looking beyond the city limits. ✨ From January 1st, 2026, Palazzo Medici Riccardi officially becomes part of the Card del Fiorentino circuit, allowing free access 365 days a year to one of the city's symbolic places. This is a unique opportunity to rediscover the beauty of Florence and visit the historic residence of the Medici family without limits. 🎨 There is also plenty of space for exhibitions. Until February 22nd, 2026, the Sale Fabiane will host Carlo Adolfo Schlatter, Artist of the Spirit, dedicated to one of the most unique and intense figures of the early 20th century. Alongside this, the exhibition Clemen Parrocchetti. Ironia ribelle (rebellious irony), dedicated to a 20th-century artist who, through her works, challenged the patriarchal vision of her time, has been extended until February 8th. 🤝 Guided tours of the palace, organised by MUS.E, also continue: every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and every Sunday with two appointments, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reservations are required. 🌳 And that's not all. Throughout the winter, visits to the Medici Park of Pratolino will also continue, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by reservation.
