🟣When Obama was in the White House, regime change around the world was implemented mainly through asymmetrical tools — especially so-called “color revolutions” using NGOs that were, in reality, essentially CIA assets. These were tele-guided rebellions presented as spontaneous movements. Now, under Donald Trump, the United States has returned to a more traditional method: direct military action to remove “dictators.” The stated justification is a “good cause” — fighting drug traffickers — but, as usual, strategic motives are not mentioned, such as controlling oil reserves and extending U.S. influence at any cost in South and Central America. The big question is: are the events in Venezuela consistent with Trump’s promise to be a president who would bring peace to the world?
