📱Telegram's 2025 Moderation Report: A Significant Crackdown on Groups and Channels — In 2025, Telegram banned approximately 44,085,169 groups and channels. Among these, around 952,318 were related to Child Sexual Abuse Materials (CSAM), and 236,573 were identified as terrorist-related communities. These numbers highlight the platform's ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe environment for its users.🥰 What about single day cleanup ❓ — On November 13, 2025, Telegram banned approximately 519,646 groups and channels in a single day. Additionally, on October 26, 2025, the platform removed around 5,070CSAM-related groups and channels. Earlier in the year, on February 26, 2025, there were also 3,851terrorist communities banned. 👀 As they say online, Telegram operates with only about 30 employees.
