4️⃣4️⃣4️⃣4️⃣4️⃣ • Students of Tashkent State University of Law can participate in the competition for the following State Named Scholarships: • The State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan; • The State Scholarship named after Navoi; • The State Scholarship named after Islam Karimov. When selecting candidates, the following are taken into account: excellent academic performance, good command of a foreign language, participation in creative, social, and intellectual competitions, involvement in spiritual and educational activities, as well as active participation in public life. Requirements for candidates for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Scholarship: • Must be a final-year student; • Must have excellent grades in all modules to date; • Must have a good knowledge of foreign languages and the history of Uzbekistan; • Must have at least two published scientific articles in the relevant field of their bachelor’s program (priority is given to publications in reputable and recognized journals); • Must participate in conferences (competitions) in their specialty. Requirements for candidates for the Navoi and Islam Karimov Scholarships: Only 3rd and 4th-year students (i.e., current 2nd and 3rd-year students) may participate in the competition. Candidates must: • Have excellent grades; • Participate in scientific (creative) activities (priority is given to articles published in recognized journals); • Participate in conferences (competitions) in their field; • Have a good knowledge of foreign languages and the history of Uzbekistan. Main documents required from candidates: • Application form (questionnaire); • GPA (all modules must be graded “excellent”); • Recommendation from the dean’s office and department; • Recommendation from a scientific (creative) supervisor; • List of scientific (creative) works (at least two in the field of law) with printed versions; • Supporting documents for participation in conferences (competitions) in law (diplomas, certificates); • Documents confirming participation or victory in other prestigious competitions (diplomas, certificates).
