2️⃣2️⃣2️⃣ • An international round table discussion on the topic “Business Law — a Guarantee of Stability and Legal Protection of Entrepreneurial Activity” was held at TSUL At the initiative of the Department of Business Law of Tashkent State University of Law, an international scientific and practical round table discussion was organized to discuss the objectives outlined during the Fifth Open Dialogue of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with entrepreneurs. The event was attended by representatives of the Eastern European Institute of Legal Studies (Germany), the University of Regensburg, The Tajik State University, as well as faculty members and researchers of TSUL, and international experts. In the first part of the international round table discussion, young scholars presented their views on legal and doctrinal issues arising from the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Measures to Implement the Objectives Defined in the Fifth Open Dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Entrepreneurs.” Discussions covered topics such as improving services for business entities, strengthening legal support for small businesses, providing legal assistance for startup projects, and the impact of attracting investments through equity participation projects on corporate legislation. The second part of the round table discussion highlighted the scholarly and creative work of the prominent lawyer, Candidate of Legal Sciences, and Associate Professor Mukhitdin Saidazimovich Saidakhmedov, who worked for many years at Tashkent State Institute of Law. Special attention was given to his contribution to the development of business law science and the significance of his academic legacy in modern business law. Participants — both international and national experts — emphasized that reforms in the field of business law are becoming increasingly large-scale. They stressed the need to analyze existing legislation and law enforcement practices and to develop proposals based on international experience. As a result of the round table, an agreement was reached to develop new academic courses (including investment law), identify new topics for scientific research, and prepare and publish popular articles based on the content of the speech of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, at the open dialogue. @tsulbox
