βπ¨βπ»π©βπ»π¬ β’ Professors of TSUL participated in the conference βLegal Regulation of Municipal Solid Waste Management in the Context of Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: Challenges and Prospectsβ An international scientific-practical conference, βLegal Regulation of Municipal Solid Waste Management in the Context of Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: Challenges and Prospectsβ, was held at Karaganda Buketov University (Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E. A. Buketov). The conference, organized to comprehensively discuss legal issues of municipal solid waste management under the SDGs and to develop proposals for effective legal, institutional, and economic mechanisms ensuring an environmentally responsible and sustainable approach to waste management at the national and international levels, featured presentations by faculty members of the Environmental Law and Civil Law Departments of Tashkent State University of Law. At the plenary and breakout sessions, reports were presented on legislative initiatives in the field of waste management; improving the legal regime of waste as objects of civil rights; tax-law and financial-law aspects of waste management in the EU; liability of legal entities for environmental offenses; as well as constitutional, administrative, and international legal aspects of environmental protection. @tsulbox
