πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ§  β€’ Seminar-workshops and masterclass with Professor SΓΈren A. Croll was held at TSUL At the initiative of the Department of English Law and European Union Law of Tashkent State University of Law, seminar-workshops were organized for undergraduate and graduate students within the framework of the special courses β€œBasics of EU Law” and β€œMethods & Interpretation of Law.” Additionally, a masterclass titled β€œTeaching Methods for Law Professors” was conducted for the university’s professors and staff. The sessions and masterclass were led by Professor SΓΈren A. Croll, head of the legal firm β€œJura One” and a practicing lawyer. During the seminar-workshops, participants received valuable information on the topics studied, and students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive expert answers. The masterclass was organized to facilitate the exchange of advanced teaching experience in legal disciplines, aiming to improve the quality of education and pedagogical effectiveness of the faculty. The session covered in detail the fundamental principles of effective law teaching and important features of legal education in Germany, including: β€’ Quality and timeliness of education β€” the necessity to provide students with the most effective education by combining deep knowledge with practical orientation; β€’ Mandatory and systematic training β€” the formation of a core knowledge base, development of test assignments, and review modules; β€’ Practical orientation and applied skills β€” developing students’ ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve legal problems, including skills in preparing legal documents and case analysis. In the interactive part of the masterclass, Professor Croll demonstrated effective ways to apply case-methods, linking theory with practice, and provided examples of developing teaching cases that foster critical thinking among law students. At the conclusion, TSUL faculty asked Professor Croll questions about the specifics of legal education in Germany and discussed possibilities for adapting the presented approaches to the education system of Uzbekistan. @tsulbox
