βοΈπ¨βπ»π©βπ»π¬ β’ A scientific and practical conference on βEnvironmental and Legal Foundations for the Transition to a Green Economy in the Republic of Uzbekistanβ was hel at TSUL π³ The Department of Environmental Law of Tashkent State University of Law organized a scientific and practical conference aimed at effectively integrating the principles of a βgreen economyβ into the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, studying international experience and best practices, developing scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations for improving environmental and legal mechanisms, enhancing the participation of government bodies, scholars, experts, and civil society institutions in this process, and strengthening practical cooperation to achieve environmental sustainability, ensure the rational use of natural resources alongside economic growth, and provide a healthy environment for future generations. The conference featured presentations by Member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Bekmirza Eshmirzaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Bakhriddin Khafizov, and TSUL lecturers β Zhummanazar Kholmuminov, Shukhrat Fayziev, Olim Narzullaev, Nariman Rajabov, Abdulloh Nishanov, as well as doctoral student Dilafruz Sadikova. π The speakers addressed such issues as the role of the green economy in environmental protection, the use of renewable energy sources, the legal foundations of environmental policy, and relevant aspects of the Strategy for the Transition of the Republic of Uzbekistan to a Green Economy. π Following the conference, scientific discussions were held, and proposals and recommendations were developed to further improve legal and institutional mechanisms in this field. @tsulbox
