• Requirements for membership in the Senate of Professors of Tashkent State University of Law The Senate of Professors of Tashkent State University of Law is formed in a composition of at least nine experienced professors and lecturers. Members of the Senate of Professors are elected for a term of five years, and the same individual may not be elected as a member of the Senate of Professors for more than two consecutive terms. This procedure is intended to ensure continuity, renewal, and transparency in the activities of the Senate of Professors, as well as to promote openness in academic governance. Membership in the Senate of Professors is open to highly qualified specialists in the field of jurisprudence who possess high moral integrity, have the necessary academic knowledge and practical experience, and have achieved significant professional results in their field. Candidates for membership in the Senate of Professors must meet at least one of the following requirements: — professors and lecturers of Tashkent State University of Law with no less than 25 years of academic and pedagogical experience, who have made a substantial contribution to the development and advancement of the University; — specialists who have obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree or an equivalent academic qualification from foreign higher education institutions included in the TOP-300 rankings of reputable international ranking organizations; — candidates with extensive practical experience in various areas of state and public life, who have distinguished themselves through exceptional service (based on a recommendation of the Rector of Tashkent State University of Law). The Senate of Professors of Tashkent State University of Law plays a significant role in strengthening academic governance, preserving and developing scientific and academic traditions, and determining the strategic directions of the University’s development. Through its activities, the Senate contributes to enhancing the quality of education, supporting academic excellence, and ensuring the sustainable development of the University in line with national and international standards. @tsulbox
