4⃣4⃣4⃣4⃣4⃣ • How are candidates nominated for membership of the Senate of Professors of Tashkent State University of Law? The following persons may nominate candidates for membership of the Senate of Professors of Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL): TSUL professors, teaching staff, and research staff, including through self-nomination; academic divisions and research centers of TSUL; the Rector of TSUL. Nomination documents must be submitted to the TSUL Election Commission at least 15 days before the election date (in the current case, the deadline is 21st of January). Members of the Senate of Professors are selected based on the principle of equal representation among academic divisions and research centers. Specifically, two representatives from each division and each research center are elected from among full-time professors, teaching staff, and research staff. The election is held by secret ballot at a meeting of representatives of academic divisions and research centers. The meeting is convened by the TSUL Election Commission and is considered valid if at least two-thirds of the representatives are present. Please note that the election of the Senate of Professors of TSUL will be held on 5 February. @tsulbox
