Motion Photos Support in Telegram In the Beta version of Telegram for Android 12.6, it is now possible to send and view motion photos. The concept behind these shots is that the camera in this shooting mode simultaneously records a short video without sound — usually 1-1.5 seconds before and after pressing the shutter button. Different smartphone manufacturers name motion photos differently, for example, Top Shot on Pixel, Motion Photos on Samsung, Live Photos on iPhone, and Dynamic Shots on Xiaomi. In the messenger, such images are marked with a special icon. All users can view the new media type, even if their device's camera does not support recording the "motion photos".
