Apparently, Telegram decided to comply with the demand of the Russian authorities (the Prosecutor General's Office and Roskomnadzor) and remove channels and contents of channels for publishing "information aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation in the Russian Federation, discrediting the actions of state authorities of the Russian Federation and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation." This happened shortly after Pavel Durov left France and ended up in the UAE.
