They discussed the situation in the Middle East and developments related to Iran. Vladimir Putin outlined Russia’s principled approaches in favour of intensifying political and diplomatic efforts to ensure stability and security in the region. The Russian Side reaffirmed its readiness to continue appropriate mediation efforts and to facilitate the advancement of constructive dialogue involving all interested states.
