🇷🇺🇪🇹📞On March 16, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed had a telephone conversation. The Leaders discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres, in line with the agreements reached during Abiy Ahmed’s visit to Moscow in September 2025. They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening friendly Russian-Ethiopian relations and agreed to intensify contacts between the relevant ministries and agencies. Vladimir Putin also expressed condolences over the natural disaster that struck southern Ethiopia last week – a landslide that caused numerous casualties and destruction. #RussiaEthiopia
