🇸🇾SDF Attack and PKK Activity Heighten Tensions in Syria; Fighters Besieged SDF forces attacked a Syrian Arab Army patrol near Maskanah, resulting in casualties. Following the attack, the area west of the Euphrates has been declared a closed military zone. This action follows reports of PKK militias targeting army forces during the agreement's implementation, and civilians are urged to avoid military positions. Two vehicles belonging to the Syrian army were destroyed following the exchange with the SDF forces near Maskanah. The SDF now reports some of their fighters remain besieged in Deir Hafer and Maskanah after Syrian forces allegedly violated a withdrawal agreement and attacked with tanks.
