A woman was reportedly caught planting an explosive device, which was safely dismantled. Syria's Interior Ministry stated that preliminary investigations link the cell to the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah. The operatives are said to have received training abroad. The plot reportedly targeted Rabbi Michael Khoury for assassination.
