Importance of Deep Sea Exploration * Resource Discovery: Oceans contain minerals like cobalt, nickel, manganese, and rare earth metals essential for electronics, EVs, and renewable energy. * Biodiversity: Deep oceans host thousands of undiscovered species, aiding medicine and biotechnology. * Climate Regulation: Oceans absorb carbon dioxide and heat, influencing global climate patterns. * Energy Potential: Hydrothermal vents and methane hydrates offer future energy possibilities. * National Security & Economy: Understanding undersea geography strengthens maritime strategy and trade infrastructure. 3.
