#GD@ssbclear GD Topic: In your opinion, what is the main reason behind people increasingly shifting from traditional jobs to unconventional career paths? 🔸Leads: 1️⃣ Better Work–Life Balance & Lifestyle 2️⃣ Ambition for Faster Growth & Wider Opportunities 3️⃣ Higher Income Potential & Financial Rewards ✅Lead A: Better Work–Life Balance & Lifestyle 📌Key Arguments: 1. Flexible Working Models: Freelancing, remote work, and creator-based careers offer flexibility that traditional 9–5 jobs rarely provide. 2. Mental Health Awareness: With rising burnout rates, especially post-pandemic, many prefer careers aligned with personal well-being. 3. Geographical Freedom: Digital careers (content creation, coding, digital marketing) allow individuals to work from anywhere. 4. Autonomy: People value independence in decision-making, creativity, and personal routines. 5. Changing Priorities: Younger generations prioritise travel, hobbies, and self-growth over rigid job structures. 🧠Supporting Example: A 2023 Indeed survey found 67% of Indian millennials prefer flexible roles over traditional office jobs for better life satisfaction. ✅Lead B: Ambition for Faster Growth & Wider Opportunities 📌Key Arguments: 1. Dynamic Sectors Rising: Emerging fields—AI, gaming, YouTube, e-commerce, fitness coaching—offer rapid upward mobility. 2. Skill-Based Growth: Unconventional paths reward skill and creativity, not seniority or hierarchy. 3. Low Entry Barriers: Many new-age careers require talent, not degrees, enabling quicker starts and faster progress. 4. Global Exposure: Internet-driven opportunities open international collaborations and client bases. 5. Personal Branding: Individuals can scale themselves—through social media, communities, or online education—much faster than in traditional roles. 🧠Supporting Example: India became the 3rd largest startup ecosystem globally, with thousands of young founders choosing faster, risk-based growth over stable jobs. ✅Lead C: Higher Income Potential & Financial Rewards 📌Key Arguments: 1. Earning Beyond Salary: Income sources like sponsorships, consulting, trading, content monetization, and online teaching allow multiple revenue streams. 2. Performance-Based Payoff: High performers earn far more than fixed corporate salaries—no upper limit on income. 3. Market Demand: Specialists in AI, cybersecurity, design, and digital creation can earn several times the salary of traditional roles. 4. Creator Economy Boom: India’s creator economy is expected to cross ₹2,200 crore by 2025, offering real financial rewards. 5. Financial Independence: Youth seek wealth creation early in life, which unconventional careers often enable faster. 🧠Supporting Example: Top content creators, stock traders, fitness influencers, and digital educators in India often earn 5–10× more than typical mid-level corporate employees. ✅Conclusion (Opinion): While income potential and work–life balance are strong motivators, the biggest driver is the ambition for faster growth and wider opportunities. Today’s youth wants impact, speed, and scalability—qualities traditional jobs often cannot offer. Unconventional careers align better with the aspirations of a rapidly evolving, digital-first generation.

Some people in life are born to inspire. Ullas is one of them. Having mentored him through his journey, it fills my heart with joy to see him take his pehla kadam. Yesterday, I received a message from Sub Lt. Ullas, who has just been commissioned into the Indian Navy as a Pilot. And instantly, it took me back to his journey. Ullas has always been incredibly hardworking. Coming from a humble background — with his father working as a cab driver — he was raised with strong values and world-class guidance at home. From becoming an Aeronautical Engineer at IIT to clearing his SSB in his first attempt, his journey has been remarkable. What moved me the most was this: just a few days before his SSB, he was down with typhoid. But despite that, he showed up and gave his best. Stories like his remind us why this work matters. Our upcoming batches: • 15th December (Online) • 15th December (Offline at Patel Nagar) To enroll, drop a message to: @r2r_shashank Or give us a call at: +91 7484058164

#lecturette@ssbclear Surgical Strikes “When diplomacy is ignored and terror is encouraged, decisive action becomes a necessity.” 1. Introduction A surgical strike is a precise, targeted military operation aimed at neutralizing specific threats with minimal collateral damage. India has conducted surgical strikes in response to cross-border terrorism and threats to national security. These operations reflect India’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and deliver a clear message that acts of terror will not be tolerated. 2. What Are Surgical Strikes? * Military operations carried out with precision, speed, and limited objectives. * Conducted using specialized forces like Para Special Forces, Ghatak Platoons, MARCOS, and Garud Commandos. * Aim to destroy terror camps, launch pads, or military targets without escalating into a full-scale war. 3. India’s Major Surgical Strikes * Myanmar Operation (2015): * Conducted by the Indian Army’s Special Forces after militants attacked Indian soldiers in Manipur. * Strike destroyed insurgent camps across the Myanmar border. * Demonstrated India’s ability to preempt and neutralize cross-border insurgency. * Uri Surgical Strike (2016): * Launched after terrorists attacked the Army camp in Uri, killing 19 soldiers. * Indian Para SF crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and destroyed multiple terror launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). * First publicly announced strike of its kind by India, signaling a new strategic doctrine. * Balakot Air Strike (2019): * Carried out by the Indian Air Force after the Pulwama terror attack. * Targeted the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan. * Marked the first air strike deep inside Pakistan since 1971. * Showcased India’s willingness to respond beyond the LoC. 4. Significance of Surgical Strikes * Deterrence: Sends a strong message to terrorist groups and their sponsors. * Political and Strategic Clarity: Demonstrates India’s willingness to take bold action. * Operational Excellence: Highlights capabilities of Indian special forces and intelligence agencies. * Public Confidence: Boosts national morale and trust in security forces. * Diplomatic Impact: Shifts global perception of India as a passive nation to a proactive defender. 5. Recent Developments (2024–2025) * Enhanced coordination between Army, Navy, Air Force, and intelligence agencies for anti-terror operations. * Increased focus on precision drones, surveillance systems, and AI-based intelligence to improve strategic response. * Tactical training of special forces expanded through joint exercises with the US, Israel, and France. 6. Challenges * Escalation Risk: Strikes may provoke retaliation or border tensions. * Intelligence Accuracy: Flawless intelligence is required to avoid collateral damage. * Terrain and Geography: Cross-border operations in mountains or dense forests pose operational challenges. * Diplomatic Sensitivity: International scrutiny may impact relationships with neighbouring countries. 7. Way Forward * Strengthen real-time intelligence through satellites, drones, and cyber capabilities. * Enhance special forces modernization with advanced weapons and equipment. * Maintain diplomatic engagement to isolate terrorism-supporting nations. * Use hybrid warfare and information warfare to counter extremist propaganda. 8. Conclusion India’s surgical strikes represent a shift toward decisive, proactive, and precise counter-terror responses. They underline India’s growing military capability, firm political resolve, and willingness to safeguard national security at all costs. These operations reinforce a clear message — India will respond strongly to any threat against its citizens and sovereignty.
