🎰How not to be a bad gambler in markets Most people lose money in crypto not because they pick the wrong tokens, but because the game is structurally stacked against frequent, uninformed traders. Even in a world with zero commissions, every trade still has a hidden cost. You buy at the ask and sell at the bid. That gap, the bid ask spread, is not just a fee. It is a transfer of money from less informed traders to more informed ones. Every time you trade, you pay it. Markets are dominated by informed traders. These are participants who only act when they believe the price is wrong. They might have better data, faster reactions, deeper analysis, or models that detect mispricing. Their trades push prices closer to reality. Someone has to lose on the other side of that trade, and most of the time it is the uninformed trader. Market makers sit in between and quote prices so you can trade instantly. They cannot tell if an order comes from a fund with insight or a retail trader chasing a candle. To protect themselves, they widen spreads. Uninformed traders end up paying for losses market makers take when trading against informed flow. This is why overtrading is lethal. Each trade without an edge has negative expected value. Trade enough and the outcome becomes predictable. Slow bleed, then ruin. The simplest fix is trading less. Long term holding works partly because you pay the spread once. Active trading means paying it again and again. If someone insists on trading without an edge, volatility matters. Low volatility coins bleed because the spread eats most moves. High volatility coins at least allow random price jumps to overpower the spread occasionally. The expected value is still negative, but variance is higher. That is gambling, but an honest version of it. The real question is simple. Do you have a clear, testable edge that survives many trades. If not, crypto is not a skill game for you. It is a casino with better graphics. If you must gamble, do it knowingly. Small size. Rare trades. High volatility. And accept that every trade pays rent to the house. ✅Subscribe to@cryp

🎁 Expected airdrops to watch in 2026 A short list of projects where a TGE or drop is still on the table next year. None of these are early anymore, but activity may still matter. ➡️ Base Coinbase’s L2 launched in 2023. The team has repeatedly hinted at a future TGE and token distribution. Activity on the network remains the main signal. ➡️ Backpack Centralized exchange plus non custodial wallet with EVM and Solana support. The fourth and final points season before TGE is currently running. ➡️ Polymarket Decentralized prediction market. A token launch has been mentioned by team members in the past. User activity and volume are the key focus. ➡️ Paradex Derivatives exchange built as a StarkNet appchain. The second season is live and expected to wrap up soon, which keeps TGE speculation active. ➡️ OpenSea NFT marketplace founded in 2017. The team has publicly referenced a future drop multiple times. The Pre-TGE rewards campaign is already in its fourth wave. ➡️ MetaMask Rumors suggest a possible TGE sooner than many expect. A points program is active and approaching its final stage. All of these are late stage plays, not early bird opportunities. Still, activity could pay off if 2026 turns into a heavy TGE year. ✅Subscribe to@cryp

🔽 Zcash plunges after core dev team exits Zcash fell sharply after the entire team behind ElectricCoinCompany, one of the main development firms for the protocol, left the organization. The token dropped about 15% in 24 hours, wiping roughly $1.2B off its market cap. The exit was caused by a governance conflict with the nonprofit overseeing the project. According to former CEOJoshSwihart, board members changed employment terms in ways that made it impossible for the team to continue their work properly. The entire team is now launching a new company. They say the protocol itself is unaffected and that they remain committed to the same privacy focused mission. ✅Subscribe to@cryp

➡️Breaking Out of Poverty This is the story of a Korean degen who spent most of his life just trying to survive. Not a motivational fairytale. Just a real path. He did every kind of physical job you can imagine. Construction, warehouses, night diners, handing out flyers, standing in costume, helping in a sushi kitchen. Almost no days off. Almost no rest. Home did not feel like home, just a place where you made it through the night. At some point, he discovered crypto and airdrops. He started farming everywhere he could. • 300 Google accounts • 300 Twitter accounts • 300 Discord accounts • all managed manually • months of work with no guarantees Most of the projects are already forgotten. Many paid nothing. It felt like trying to break a stone with an egg. The first real money came from Ethena and a few other drops. Life got easier, but the stress stayed. One wrong click could still wipe weeks of work. In 2024, he found Hyperliquid. He hesitated for two months and paid for it later. After the airdrop, volatility spiked. He sold spot and reopened exposure on futures with small leverage, which meant liquidation risk. Because of that, he barely slept, checking the position every hour. He closed part around $15 and sold the rest near $50. Then came Lighter. Liquidation farming. At first it felt unreal. 100 to 200 points per week seemed too easy. Then it got harder. Fear of account wipes, constant pressure. Still, he pushed through to around 3000point (~ $150,000). After the TGE, he finally allowed himself a short pause. Good food. Alcohol. Cars. Clothes. Sometimes it still does not feel real. He wrote this to remember the road he walked. And to make sure he never goes back. If you feel stuck, it is not the end. If you survive long enough, you win. ✅Subscribe to@cryp

🗓Potential TGEs to Watch in Q1 2026 It is January 8, which means the first quarter of 2026 is officially underway. Q1 looks busy. Several projects are lining up token launches, many of them backed by over $50M in funding from funds or raised during ICO rounds. This quarter could set the tone for early 2026 listings and valuations. Which project are you watching most closely? ✅Subscribe to@cryp
