👮‍♀️ Teen linked to $90M US government crypto theft exposed after wallet flex ➡️ Onchain investigator ZachXBT traced a threat actor known as John, alias Lick, to over $90M in suspected thefts after he publicly flexed wallets holding around $23M. Part of the funds were linked to US government seizure addresses tied to the Bitfinex hack in 2024, involving roughly 1,000 BTC. ➡️ John was exposed after a Telegram argument with another threat actor, Dritan Kapplani Jr., where they went “band for band” to prove who controls more crypto. The entire exchange was recorded, including screen shares that showed John controlling multiple wallets receiving large ETH and TRON inflows. ➡️ According to reports, the suspect is a US school student who gained access using credentials from his father, who worked in a government unit handling seized assets.
