⚠️ $50M AAVE Trade Turns Into $36K A user tried to buy $50M worth of AAVE through the Aave interface. The swap went through an extremely illiquid pool, and the interface repeatedly warned about massive slippage. The user confirmed the warnings and executed the trade from a mobile device. The result: 324 AAVE received, worth roughly $36K. Almost the entire amount was captured by MEV during the transaction. ➡️ MEV bot paid Titan Builder: 16,927 ETH (~$34.8M) ➡️ Titan Builder paid Lido validator: 568 ETH (~$1.2M) Aave says it will try to contact the user and refund about $600K in fees collected from the swap.
