🎥 Netflix making a series about FTX collapse Netflix is working on “The Altruists”, a show about Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison. Release is expected in the second half of 2026. The story follows the rise and fall of FTX, which ended with around $8B in customer losses. The project is backed by Barack and Michelle Obama’s studio. The script is written by the author of The Imitation Game. The series will have 8 episodes and include characters like SBF, Ellison, and CZ.
