If you are playing alts as your main thing then at least think from a venture mindset not an investor mindset. Most will fail and 1 or 2 make all the returns. It radically shifts the way you allocate. No Tradfi Venture person has their whole port in a few bets, they have max allocation % and a broad base while considering being illiquid a long time. If you speculate with an investor mindset you are just playing russian roulette. A venture person believes both that any of their bets will work out but they know at the same time most actually wont.
