📰Liquid Glass elements are not VoiceOver friendly. 📢 The editors of "Durov's Code" and "tginfo" have noted that elements subject to change in the iOS 26 redesign are not supported by the VoiceOver accessibility feature. Telegram itself began supporting them on March 24, 2019, when it released one of its most significant updates, addressing user privacy. 👁 VoiceOver is a feature in Apple devices, first added in macOS Tiger (2005), and later in iPhone OS 3.0 (2009). It acts as a kind of screen reader that reads text and names icons when they are added. It's useful for those with poor font vision and difficulty recognizing icons. Telegram tends to simply add new features without sustaining them for the sake of being the "most feature-rich" app, which is why even visually impaired users suffer. ❌ Visually impaired VoiceOver users have repeatedly reported bugs, including the inability to scroll through chats and lists, leaving reactions, and missing button labels in the settings. ☝️As a reminder, the redesign is not yet complete and is still being partially finalized for Liquid Glass, so these two posts will likely reach the developers. Telegram has also added TalkBack, its Android counterpart. Are there any issues with it as well?
