š° A week ago, a new service notification from +42777 appeared in case a channel or supergroup was transferred to you. š£ This message includes the channel name, username, a hyperlink to the @telegramtips post, and an explanatory note. āØļø The most interesting feature is the inline button, which allows you to unsubscribe from the owner's post and return it to the previous owner (EVEN if you haven't fulfilled the conditions for a regular transfer of rights). In this case, the previous owner will receive another service notification about this. ā ļøChannel Transfer Rejected: {CHANNELNAME} You recently transferred ownership of channel {CHANNELNAME}@username to {user}. The user has rejected the transfer, so the channel has been assigned back to you. You are the channel owner again and are responsible for its contents. ā This is useful for preventing a setup involving accusations of terrorism (this does happen), or if you don't want to take up unnecessary username slots, or if you're simply not ready to take responsibility for the chat. #tip: 1. You can view all your chat ownership in TDesktop by right-clicking "My Channels" or "My Groups." You can even use the @WhatIOwnBot bot (from tginfo; API based, method not guaranteed). 2. You can see who owns a channel by opening Administrators or, better yet, Recent Activity. Thanks: ššš
