Telegram will notify users who use alternative clients (forks and mods), presenting that communication with such users may be unsafe. This is partly true, as some mods can be dangerous due to caching to the device after deleting these messages, and unauthorized data transfers, including personal data. Before that, this is known thanks to the new fragment of the language interface on the Telegram translation site. There is a high probability that it is new in the next version 12.6. Most likely, this is due to high-profile discussions on Telega (Russian modification) and its possible data transmissions about the content in the messages to the Russian government, their official channel has lost verification.
