"Genuine Nationalists Win in German State Elections" White Papers takes a look at the electoral results in Thuringia and Saxony, what this means for the German people, and what sort of men are leading this political revolution. In Thuringia, the youth voted overwhelmingly for right-wing parties, with more than 62% of 18-24-year-old Germans in the state casting their ballots for the AfD, BSW, or CDU. In total, some 49% of the vote went to explicitly anti-immigration parties and the vote for the governing leftist coalition collapsed among the youth. In Saxony, the AfD also gained significant ground with working-class Germans, though it appears the state government has found a miraculous 'software error' that over-allocated one seat to the AfD. After this correction, the Saxony AfD will not have a so-called vote-blocking minority. A strange but expected development in Germany's shambolic liberal democracy. Finally, we take a look at the man leading this revolution, Björn Höcke. Mr. Höcke's politics are a genuinely nationalist mix of ethnic advocacy for native Germans, promotion of traditional German (especially Prussian) values, and a concern for the nuclear family and social norms that made Germany a successful society for hundreds of years.
