The Iranian media published the statement of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company stating that "around 10:00 this morning, the 'Lavan' oil refinery facility, located on Lavan Island, was subjected to a cowardly attack by enemies. Reports that the Air Force of the UAE conducted a strike on Iranian oil and petrochemical installations in the Persian gulf, hence the Iranian retaliation not too long ago.
